Dominick Vanderlip

Dominick Vanderlip was born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY in 1997. Raised by two artists in Los Angeles, CA, he went to college at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT earning a BFA. He has had two solo exhibitions - Los Angeles and Bozeman, and has participated in group shows in Los Angeles, Oakland, Helena, MT, Bozeman MT, and NY, NY. Recently returned to LA, Vanderlip has been focusing primarily on painting but has a continuing interest in clay; and is mining the dynamic between both media. Vanderlip’s paintings conflate urban settings and the natural world that operate together as a battery to regenerate, recharge, and motivate. Using repetition (rain, flowers, checker boards, and stripes), enumeration and color is the focused and meditative process he employs to work through his pieces. These elements of the natural world overpower underlying scenes of domestic interiors, serving as a kind protection to be able to express unsettling emotion. More about Dominick Vanderlip

Yujia Li

Yujia Li is a Chinese artist born in 2000, currently living and working in New York, USA. She grew up in Shenzhen, China, and moved to California, USA, in 2015. In 2023, Li graduated with a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design, USA. Li’s paintings employ tools and techniques such as airbrushing and stenciling to create ambiguity and concealment. Her interest in obscurity originates from the fear of revealing her true self. Her work considers mythological tales, cultural hybridity (based on her childhood memory from being a Chinese-Korean ethnic minority), and archived photography (capturing the remnants of the past). Holden Fuller

Holden is constantly drawing when he’s not in the studio painting.  He created the book, Sun Run, a collection of 150+ works on paper made over several months from 2022-2023.  All works are 8.5”x11” and 7”x10”.  Using found images and photos taken by the artist, he used dye to treat the paper then run them through his home inkjet printer, finishing them off with his intuitive mark making, usually with a black sharpie.  His expression of new ideas and inspiration stems from counter culture, psychedelics, classic films, death, music and the graffiti found on the streets of Los Angeles.
